As a parish in the Episcopal Church, All Saints offers beautifully crafted worship celebrations from the Book of Common Prayer, which are consistent with the Catholic and Anglican liturgical traditions. Our Sunday Eucharist includes Scripture readings, a homily, and Holy Communion, which is offered to all children and adults who seek a deeper relationship with God.
As a community of faith gathered around God’s Word and Sacrament, we are a congregation which respects the dignity of all people. We seek to do God’s will and to be all that God calls us to be as best we can. We offer generosity of spirit and hospitality to one another and to our visitors and friends as we offer praise and thanks to God for all the many gifts that we have been given and that we hope to share with others. We believe that Jesus Christ welcomes all people. So, too, do we welcome all people. Know that you are always most welcome to join us for worship and fellowship at any time!
We believe in music as a powerful method of worshipping and connecting with God. Our services emphasize music by singing the Psalms and the beginning of the Eucharistic Rite. Our small but talented choir sings the verses of the Psalms, with everyone joining in for the refrain. We sing the Eucharist responsively, taking turns with our Reverend Christian Brocato.
We welcome everyone to take part in the holy ritual of communion. The gifts of God are given to all the people of God.
We welcome anyone to worship with us and we will do our best to let you feel at home here. Please feel free to join us in the Mission Hall after the service to enjoy a snack and a comfy chair.
If you are new to the Episcopal church, you will find our Church Bulletin especially useful; it lists the order of events in the service and supplies you with page numbers for the different books that we use. Generally, a service will use two books: The Book of Common Prayer (small and red, with a cross on the cover) and the 1982 Hymnal (the biggest book). If you like, you can pick up a written copy of the readings for the day when you come in, or you can just listen to the readers. If you ever have a question, any of us would be delighted to help you.
